Produced by Stogden Studios in partnership with Pontefract Civic Society, the festival aims to give filmmakers a platform to showcase their work, discover new voices and bring people together through a shared love of film.
From fiction and documentary to student films and emerging filmmakers, Pontefract Film Festival will shine a light on the people and stories that make Northern filmmaking so distinctive.
Based in the heart of Pontefract, the festival is about more than simply watching films. It is about creating an opportunity for local audiences and filmmakers to come together, celebrate creativity and put Pontefract on the map as a place where film can thrive.
