Ackworth School is a collection of Grade I, II* & II listed buildings. Originally built as a Coram Foundling Hospital; created by rich benefactors; in the late 18th century it was converted into a Quaker boarding school. Ackworth School is not just about education, heritage and great architecture, it is also about a glimpse into social history.
