Friends of Friarwood Valley Gardens is a voluntary community group that has come together for the purpose of regenerating Pontefract's Valley Gardens. The Valley Gardens is owned and managed by Wakefield Council but the local community has seen a gradual decline in its maintenance over the years as the Council has prioritised its resources elsewhere.
