Start the festive season in style at the Pontefract Light Switch-On!

There’s something for everyone at the Pontefract Light Switch-On. Take a walk around the festive market and get into the spirit of the season as you kickstart your Christmas shopping. Whilst we can’t promise snow we can promise a giant snowglobe for the kids to enjoy! Alongside funfair rides there will also be fantastic performances from local groups on the main stage. Don’t forget to pick up a tasty snack from our street food and drink vendors as you savour the community atmosphere.

Make sure to be around the main stage for the official light switch-on at at 5:30pm.
