The town centre, Friarwood Valley Gardens and Pontefract Castle will be buzzing!

Not least that Yorkshire Day this year falls on a Saturday, it’s market day, and this year’s event will be bigger and better than before thanks to a number of organisations working together. Apologies if we miss anyone out, but this event has been made possible by WMDC, the police, Pontefract Heritage Group, Friends of Friarwood Valley Gardens, St Giles Church, Fire & Rescue, and Pontefract Civic Society.

With so many activities, delicious food and entertainment for the whole family:

Why not bring your dog along and enter them into the Ponte Pooch Show, lots of categories, lots of prizes.
